Does my child need to be having string lessons at YMM?
No. Beginner Strings is open to young string players wherever they have their lessons, as long as they've completed at least one term of tuition.

What comes next after Beginner Strings?
Students who develop further naturally progress to Junior Strings, and beyond that to Chamber Group as their playing advances.

Yes. Every group at YMM performs at the end-of-term concert, and many groups also play at weekly café concerts and special events throughout the year.
