Peripatetic Drum Kit Tutor for September 2020

Duties: 1-to-1 drum kit teaching, with experience in all genres, jazz specialism would be ideal

Rate: £29ph

Date: From 19th or 26th September 2020, 10 Saturdays per term, approx 4.5 hours to begin with, expected to rise to a 6-hr day within a year. This is term cover to begin with, with a probationary review in December.


Experience of teaching in a similar setting across a variety of styles, including jazz, rock and pop, ideally having taken a student through to grade 8 level.

Enthusiasm for, and dedication to, music education.

A positive, pragmatic and flexible attitude, as it is likely will we offer a mixture of in person and online teaching.


Experience with teaching all ages in person and remotely.

The candidate will need to possess an enhanced DBS check (paper or update service) valid within 3 years upon appointment.
