Who is Rock & Pop 2 for?

Rock & Pop 2 is for intermediate electric guitarists and bassists playing blues, rock, and pop. It focuses on developing soloing skills alongside band coaching. Singers and drummers join by invitation only.

What level do I need to be?

Intermediate standard — comfortable with chord progressions, beginning to develop lead playing or bass lines, and ready to work in a band context at a higher level than Rock & Pop 1.

How do singers and drummers get invited?

Singers and drummers are added by invitation from the group leader, based on musical fit and availability. If your child is interested, mention it when you get in touch and we will keep it in mind.

How do I join?

Just get in touch via our Contact or enquiry page and we will let you know about availability and the best way to get started.

Will there be chances to perform?

Yes. Every group at YMM performs at the end-of-term concert, and many groups also play at weekly café concerts and special events throughout the year.
